Mistletoe Christmas card, with botanical names. Printed in England on a light cream, 300gsm carbon-neutral Italian paper, made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste.
Adapted from Pocket Atlas of Field, Meadow and Woodland Plants: for Walkers and Hikers by R. Siélain (Paris, 1895). According to legend, in midwinter the Druids cut mistletoe from the oak with a golden sickle as a gift from the heavens and a sign of life enduring through the dark. It still hangs at Christmas, inviting kisses and keeping alive an ancient promise of goodwill in the depths of winter.
All our greeting cards are 170mm x 120mm (approx. 5” x 7”) and blank inside, individually wrapped in a compostable wrapper made from plants, with a 100% recycled, 110gsm kraft envelope.
